On 7/25/2005 I was admitted to Saint John's Mercy Medical Center for having pancytopenia, or very low blood counts. Three days later I was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. This blog is photographic record of my 10 day hospital stay. If you are looking for my aplastic anemia blog, please go to aplasticanemia.brendangates.com.

This was the first night in the hospital - while I was still on the 6th floor. I am attempting to see if the Lifecare 5000 Infusion Pump will allow me to send text messages.
