On 7/25/2005 I was admitted to Saint John's Mercy Medical Center for having pancytopenia, or very low blood counts. Three days later I was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. This blog is photographic record of my 10 day hospital stay. If you are looking for my aplastic anemia blog, please go to aplasticanemia.brendangates.com.

I'm excited to go home, and also that the nurses found me a rolling cart to serve as my moving truck.
My ATG was not too bad. It was only over a period of four days and the worst reaction I had was the shakes/shivers when the dose started each day (and pretty easily overcome by a mild sedative). Thank you both for the comments and good luck with your health.

I got through exactly what you had. Mine ATD didn't work. Hope you are doing well.
